Wiri Wiri plant with delicious peppers of different colors

Wiri Wiri

Wiri Wiri is one of the harder to find varieties of Capsicum Frutescens, but it is worth looking for. Originating in northern South America, specifically Guyana, it packs a wallop in the spice and flavor department. It is jam-packed with a deep fruity and smoky flavor, with tomato-like notes that make it great for sauces and marinades.

This small pepper is a big hit in the pungency department. Reaching Scotch Bonnet heat levels, Wiri Wiri is deceptively spicy. At a maximum of 1 inch in diameter for their biggest fruits, they almost look like cherries hanging from the shrub.

With its adorable looks and its hard-hitting spice, it is one of our rising stars. Contact us to add Wiri Wiri to your one-of-a-kind menu as well.

Appearance: approximately half an inch long and shaped like a little sphere
